Mission Oflameron Synopsis

Create AI Dataset

Europe. Czech Republic. Somewhere in Prague. Steeve: "In the 2020s, I worked quite a bit with synchronous software-based cryptographically secure pseudorandom number generators (CSPRNGs) - where two generators at different points on the globe produce the exact same massive random number. I built them using Java and Python. Later, as AI models became available, I got interested in creating such a generator using AI. In principle, a relatively small model with 300 to 400 million parameters is sufficient for this. You don't even need specialized fine-tuning; you just have to disable the internal random number generators. You write a prompt say, a geography-based one: 'List the names of ten islands in the Caribbean Sea. Write them sequentially as a single word without spaces, hyphens, or punctuation. Convert the resulting word into a number.' This number is then used as a master key or as digital noise within the generated random number. There are countless variations possible here, and the level of reliability achieved is immense. Since the AI model is small, it can run on phones, smartwatches, earbuds, and trackers." Jett: "Did your generator pass standard test suites?" Steeve: "Testing it proved difficult. Using AI in these later CSPRNG designs meant that the generator produced each random number using a unique, one-off algorithm. No patterns could be detected when analyzing the generated numbers. While this wasn't suitable for stream encryption, it provided security comparable to the Vernam cipher for one-off cryptographic operations, such as transmitting master keys or military data." Jett: "And what did that lead to for you?" Steeve: "I published my work online. Eventually, I was offered a great job." It was in another country - a small firm specializing in creative projects and innovative developments. I had serious doubts about whether I should go; I’m a very conservative person by nature. But the negotiations went well, in a friendly atmosphere, and the firm provided a lot of help with the relocation. I really appreciated that approach. And the work turned out to be interesting.
